Crookwell Mary Gilmore Festival

The Crookwell Mary Gilmore Weekend is an annual cultural event held in memory of the locally born Dame Mary Gilmore.

The weekend showcases artists, poets, musicians, singers and entertainers.

Opening night this year is Friday, 25 October, with the opening of the Art Show at the Crookwell Tea House and Gallery from 6pm to 8pm.

Saturday kicks off with informal jam sessions by musicians, singers and poets from 10am at the Crookwell Showground, followed by free Performing Youth Concert from 1.30pm in the Showground Dome Pavilion.

Saturday evening will be the highlight of the weekend with a Variety Music Concert and Champagne Supper in the Showground Pavilion, commencing at 7.30pm.

Sunday features breakfast at the Showground and free Balladeers, Musicians and Poets Showcase from 10am to 2pm.

To further enhance your visit, Crookwell features specialty shops including Arcadia, Top Paddock and Mad Hatters, plus some excellent cafes. The Crookwell Tea House and Gallery will be open both Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 4pm.
