8.30am—Admire the view and fresh air with a leisurely breakfast at Kiki’s in the Grove, located just off the Federal Highway in Collector—home to the famous Collector Village Pumpkin Festival.

10.00am—Sample award winning cool climate wines at Collector Wines cellar door in a beautiful ca. 1829 building from ages past.

12.30pm—Enjoy the country roads and head over to Gunning for some home-baked treats with your lunch at the Merino Café.

1.30pm—Walk off the morning indulgences by taking the Self-Guided Heritage Walk of Gunning before heading off to Crookwell.

3.00pm—Time for a great coffee at Café Zestt in the heart of Crookwell, a town renowned for its potatoes, fine wool and prime lambs and for being the largest town in the region.

4.00pm—Spend some time before dinner seeing how real socks are made at the Lindner Quality Sock Factory or indulge in some retail therapy along Crookwell’s bustling main street.

6.00pm—Have a sneaky pre-dinner drink at the Laggan Hotel.

7.30pm—Finish the day with a sumptuous dinner at The Argyle Inn in Taralga, awarded a “Hat” in the 2018 Good Food Guide for exceptional regional produce.

These are just some suggestions—there are a multitude of excellent wineries, restaurants and cafes in the region to visit, such as the Laggan Pantry, Taralga’s Tangled Vine or Ploughman Café, or quaint country pubs in each of our villages….
